Il recupero e il riutilizzo dei materiali è il punto di partenza
di questa opera, nella quale è protagonista un’asse di rovere.
La corteccia, lasciata totalmente al naturale, è protetta da un
cristallo temperato supportato da una due parallelepipedi in
mdf laccati lucido che creano un dinamico gioco di contrasti.
Le texture naturali del legno vengono valorizzate da una
struttura portante moderna e lucida che, da un lato incastra e
obbliga l’asse, mentre dall’altra si adatta alle sue curve.
The recycling and reuse of materials is the starting point of
this artwork, in which the protagonist is a sessile oak board.
The bark, used in its natural form, is protected by a hardened
crystal supported by two parallelepipeds in varnished mdf thus
creating a dynamic game of contrasts. The natural texture of
the wood is emphasized by a modern and holding structure,
which on one side frames and forces the board and on the
other it adapts to its curves.
